..::STARLIGHT::..

I reach towards the stars with my arms wide open, I feel myself bathing in their light, suffused with it.

Their twinkling white warmth penetrating the smooth, velvety darkness of the nights’ sky, warring with it.

I surrender to their luminosity, the rightness  and purity of it, intoxicating me.

So much light, as far as the eye can see up above, so many stars.

Some huddle together and tell stories as old as time itself, conveying their wisdom.

Others stay alone, shining brightly, sentinels watching over  everything.

All of them always there, forever guardians of the night…
